वोडाफोन ने ग्राहकों को ‘अपना नंबर चुनें’ के नाम से सुविधा देने की घोषणा की है जिसमें वे अपने निकटतम स्टोर से पसंदीदा नंबर, जन्म तिथि, कार के नंबर से जुड़े नंबर की मांग कर सकते हैं।
कंपनी की एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा है कि अभी यह योजना दिल्ली और एनसीआर में लागू की जा रही है। इसमें ग्राहकों को आखिरी के पांच नंबर अपनी पसंद के चुनने का विकल्प होगा। इसके तहत ग्राहक उसके 52 स्टोर और 213 मिनी स्टोर या मल्टी ब्रैंड दुकानों पर नया वोडाफोन नंबर खरीदते समय अपने मनपसंद के नंबर की उपलब्धता के बारे में पूछताछ कर सकते हैं।
विक्रेता वांछित प्रकार के नंबर की मांग की उपलब्धता की जांच करेगा। उपलब्धता होने पर उसकी पुष्टि करेगा। नंबर को सक्रिय कराने के लिए ग्राहक को समुचित दस्तावेज जमा कराना होगा।
विज्ञप्ति के अुनसार यह सुविधा प्री पेड और पोस्ट पेड दोनों तरह के ग्राहकों के लिए है। दिल्ली एनसीआर में कंपनी के बिजनेस प्रमुख अपूर्व मेहरोत्रा ने कहा कि कंपनी अपने ग्राहकों को उनकी आवश्यकता और उनकी रूचि के अनुसार नई पेशकश करने में विश्वास रखती है।
